Celebrating Success: Preeti Sinha Becomes New Zealand’s Newest A-Category Flight Instructor
Aspeq is delighted to announce that the recipient of the Aspeq A-Cat Scholarship, Ms Preeti Sinha, has successfully achieved the prestigious A Category flight instructor rating. Preeti completed her rigorous two days of flight and ground examinations with our esteemed flight examiner, Peter Oberschneider, in Whanganui.
The A-Category is the highest level of flight instructional qualification in General Aviation, requiring an exceptional depth of knowledge, advanced piloting abilities, and outstanding instructional skills. Achieving this milestone demands significant commitment, preparation, and hard work. Preeti has showcased all these attributes with remarkable success, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to her.
Preeti holds the role of Deputy Chief Flying Instructor – Instructor Training at the New Zealand International Commercial Pilot Academy (NZICPA), where her students will greatly benefit from her expertise and dedication.
Reflecting on her journey, Preeti shared: "It still hasn’t sunk in properly. It’s been two years of hard work, supported by the advice and mentorship of many A-Cats, especially Graham Leach and Ritchie de Montalk. Their guidance has been invaluable."
“Congratulations, Preeti! Your dedication and passion have truly paid off, and we look forward to your future successes.” Gordon Alexander, Aviation Manager, Aspeq.
