Aspeq attend Aviation NZ conference

Aug 10, 2023

The Aspeq team Hamish FindlayMike LynskeyAdam LeeNaomi BarkerGordon Alexander and Duncan Macgregor had a great time engaging with the New Zealand aviation industry at the Aviation NZ conference.

From the Welcome event on Sunday night which Aspeq sponsored, to the Awards Dinner on Tuesday, it was fantastic event.

There were some great presentations covering strategy to deal with the rapidly changing post Covid world as well as presentations on the unprecedented demand for pilots and engineers in the airline sector globally and the direct impact that has on the training sector, which has flow on effects for instructor, aircraft maintenance engineer and aircraft resources.

Hamish provided a presentation to the UAVNZ team that was well received, and we are on the pathway to support them with a professional accreditation programme.

We continue to play a significant role in support of one of our two shareholders, with Gordon being re-elected for a second two-year term as one of the two VPs of the association.

A great conference in a fantastic venue at the Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre.
