Examination Support

Aspeq have been developing, supporting, and maintaining question banks for more than 30 years. We have developed a range of workflows and processes to ensure that your questions are effectively managed, and the structures of your examinations are fully tested and correct, so you can be confident in the results you receive. 

We set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor each question’s performance, so that we can proactively identify whether a question needs to be reviewed. Our monitoring, review and refinement of examination question includes:

  • Identifying questions with pass rates that are too high or too low.
  • Looking at the performance of individual questions within the context of overall examination.
  • Assessing the fairness of individual examinations.

International Customer & Tech Service

Our in-house Candidates Service team monitors the delivery of all your examinations around the world. Our team can help you with all enquiries and issues, including online and phone support for candidates. We offer in-house and one-on-one training for exam invigilators, administrators, and implementation teams. We also capture candidate feedback and undertake regular customer surveys.

So much of today’s examination and assessment environment relies on software and technology. We offer monitoring and support for our systems, including disaster recovery, security, and upgrade management.

Venue Management

We offer a full range of ways for our candidates to sit their examinations. We operate a large network of our own exam venues in New Zealand and Australia, along with extensive partner venues worldwide. Examinations are undertaken via our system on computers at these supervised examination centers.

Robust, dependable examination delivery strengthens your reputation by ensuring your candidates are effectively assessed. Comprehensive online management gives your candidates the means to manage their own bookings thereby freeing you to focus on the things that are most important to regulators.

We conduct regular audits of our examination centres and invigilators. We also employ “mystery shoppers” to make spontaneous but frequent visits to our examination centres. We use this information to evaluate the practises at the examination centres and look to apply any learnings as opportunities for improvement across our entire network.

In addition to question creation and question bank management, our Quadrant system provides examination delivery and marking. We also offer Knowledge Deficiency Reports (KDR), which detail the areas of knowledge where questions were answered incorrectly, to ensure knowledge deficiencies are understood and highlight where further study is required.
