The United Kingdom's e-Exam initiative reaches a remarkable milestone as it commemorates a decade of successful operation. The journey began with initial examinations at two sites in April and May 2014, but it was June 2nd that marked the official rollout of this groundbreaking system.
Utilising the Aspeq systems, the inaugural day of official exams saw examinations conducted at various key locations, including Gatwick, Luton, Leicester, Nursling in Southampton, Oxford, as well as international centres in Jerez, (Spain) Sepang (Malaysia), Hamilton (NZ) and Orlando and Phoenix in the United States.
To ensure seamless execution, CAAi strategically assigned support personnel to specific centres. Duncan Macgregor Oxford, Mike Lynskey at Orlando, and Adila Bajema at Gatwick were tasked with overseeing operations at the major centres, providing assistance if required. Fortunately, thanks to meticulous planning and dedication, the exams proceeded without any hitches across all locations.
While not everyone was directly involved, the collective effort and unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service and support to the UK over the past decade have undoubtedly contributed to the program's success. As we celebrate this milestone, it's an opportune moment to reflect on our achievements and acknowledge the hard work that has gone into making e-Exams a resounding triumph.
