The end of the financial year is one of our favourite times at Aspeq—not just for looking back at what we've achieved, but for coming together as one team to celebrate those successes.
With team members based in our offices in Petone and Canberra, along with remote colleagues across New Zealand, we know that connection and collaboration are key to how we work. That’s why we take this opportunity each year to gather in person, strengthen relationships, and reflect on the year that was.
Aspeq CE Hamish Findlay shared,
“While our team works well across the Pacific, there is nothing like meeting in person and taking time out of our busy work schedules to spend time together as a full team.”
This year’s celebrations were extra special, as it was our first EOFY together in our new Petone Office. We marked the occasion with a team lunch at Speight’s Ale House, sampling some of our new local eateries and enjoying a relaxed meal together.
The celebrations continued with a creative twist—an afternoon hosted by PaintVine, where we unleashed our inner artists and discovered some hidden talents among the team. It was a great way to unwind, laugh, and appreciate the diverse strengths that make up Aspeq.
At Aspeq, we know our success is powered by our people. These moments of connection help build stronger working relationships, spark fresh ideas, and remind us that great things happen when we work together.
