Aspeq attends 58th Director General of Civil Aviation Conference in Bangladesh

Last week, Chief Executive Hamish Findlay and Director of Business Development Mike Lynskey participated in the 58th Director General of Civil Aviation Conference in Bangladesh.
The central theme of this year’s conference was centered around advancing the ICAO Gender Equality Programme, which places its main focus on “Attaining gender equality and empowering women and girls”. This aligns seamlessly with our core values at Aspeq, and it is why we proudly support an annual “Women in Aviation” scholarship each year.
The conference encompassed a diverse range of aviation subjects, such as safety, security, environmental implications, navigation, and global viewpoints. Engaging discussions took place, offering an excellent opportunity to connect with our clients from the Asia Pacific region.
The conference drew participation from 34 states from within the region and an additional 3 states from outside the region, with a notable gathering of over 350 delegates. It was particularly rewarding to connect with the representatives from numerous Pacific states who were present.
We engaged in productive conversations with our clients from the Asian region, and it was great to hear that they have a high level of satisfaction with our services.
Attending the DGCA conference holds significant importance to Aspeq, as it standing as one of the rare occasions when we can meet with the majority of our Aviation clients, as well as our partner CAA International. It was a fantastic week in every aspect.
